And as seen from space. This picture is part of the 250m/pixel resolution image from the 1120UTC pass of the Terra satellite. Although taken a few hours before the ground photograph I did see similar circular contrails at the time the satellite was passing overhead. Morecambe Bay is in the lower left corner and Flamborough Head half way up the righthand side. |
